If you happened to read A Song of Ice and Fire books, or the screen adaptation of them – Game of Thrones, you’ll be interested in looking some of the major characters represented in the series and in their real life, just to see if you can recgnize and compare them. I confess, they’re done great in the HBO Series, but the book is always different (read: better) than the movie or the series. Here’s how they look like in the series and in the real life.
Tyrion Lannister, ‘The Imp’ in Got and Peter Dinklage – himself
Cersei Lannister, the Queen, and Lena Headey in real life
Jaime Lannister, Queen’s brother and something more, or Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
Catelyn Stark, a wise Lady of Winterfell, played by Michelle Fairley
Daenerys Targaryen or the beautiful Emilia Clarke
Jorah Mormont, Daenerys’ right hand, or in other words Iain Glen
Jon Snow, the prettiest guy in the show according to many, played by Kit Harington
Bran Stark, unfortunately disabled kid always accompanied by his direwolf, real name Isaac Hempstead-Wright
Robb Stark, the eldest Stark child, played by Richard Madden
Sansa Stark, unhappily married to Joffrey Baratheon, played by young Sophie Turner
Arya Stark, one of the most interesting characters if you ask me, and herself Maisie Williams
Joffrey Baratheon, perhaps the most irritating character, played by Jack Gleeson
Samwell Tarly, one of the guard on Night’s Watch, actually John Bradley
Sandor Clegane – The Hound, played by Rory McCann
Melisandre, the priestess is played by Carice van Houten
Jeor Mormont, the head in the Night Watch or James Cosmo in other words
Varys, the eunuch of the series, i.e. Conleth Hill
Eddard Stark, most known as Boromir in LotR, played by famous Sean Bean
Viserys Targaryen, Daenerys brother, killed by Khal Drogo performed by Harry Lloyd
Khal Drogo, the new star of movies, played by the ex model Jason Momoa
