Wild Gifts for Wanderers and Adventurers
Bodum Fyrkat Portable Grill
This pint-size charcoal grill’s locking lid, waiflike weight—just 5.6 pounds—and heat-shielding silicone grip make it easy to carry with one hand (leaving the other free for the six-pack). Perfect for burgering at the beach or on the balcony.
Hella Slingshot
The branch-and-rubber-band catapult of yore has gone artisanal. The Hella is hand-carved from Mora tree limbs and equipped with a natural latex tube sling and a leather pouch for your projectiles. Mr. Wilson’s windows don’t stand a chance.
Black Diamond Magnetron
This reinvention of the staid climbing carabiner replaces cumbersome locks with easy-to-open magnets. The result: no-fuss one-handed locking and unlocking.

Hermes: The Summer Campaign is Shot on Aegina Island, Greece
The beauty of the pictures speaks for itself. The purity of line, the wisdom of time, the sparsity of luxury. All these are represented perfectly by the French sellier -which became the fashion and leathergoods luxe house- and the eternal Greek ideal. The mighty, sturdy olive, gigantic through the passage of the centuries, the clear skies, the flowing fabrics, the architectural lines, the "nothing in excess" spirit.
The campaign's motto? "Le Temps Devant Soi"...time before you.
Enjoy!

Either Drink or Drive – It’s up to You
I guess there is no need to bother you with facts and numbers of accidents because of people driving drunk. It happened to everyone, even me, to be in a car with a driver who had a couple of drinks, but luckily, alcohol doesn’t affect us all the same way. Anyway, this is no excuse, because even if you think you’re ok, you can never know who else might be driving the same streets as you… But if you look it that way, anything can happen even when you’re sober. Nevertheless, the point is, no matter how drunk you may feel, the police will tell you how much alcohol you had and will certainly take away your license, and above all you can jeopardize your and other people’s lives, so please – drive responsibly!

Controversial Benetton Ad Campaign
Benetton is now promoting a new initiative, called simply Unhate, in support of the Unhate Foundation. It’s meant to promote peace and harmony between people of different cultures – and what better way to do that than by presenting leaders of different cultures sharing the love. One photo shows the Pope kissing another man in the mouth, and it will be pulled from the campaign.

Company Logos In Crisis

10 most controversial billboard ads in USA
10. PETA’s diet plan introduced this huge billboard ad that had the message to lose weight and go vegetarian with the insulting headline “Save the whales”. It drew a lot of attention but mostly in a negative way because it was taken down shortly after it was placed.
9. Another ad PETA did included the sex scandal of Tiger Woods.
8. Unhappy with the health care bill and how things were done in the White House, Ellis Miller from Texas made this Obama billboard to use his freedom of speech and show his disappointment.
7. This ad for Thomas B. funeral homes & crematory is a bit over the top, but the message is pretty clear though.
6. The Weatherproof Garment Company never asked Obama for permission to use a press photo of him wearing a weatherproof jacket on their ad, but still they placed it in Times Square.
5. From far away it looks like the woman from Robbins Diamonds ad is giving you the finger, but at second glance you will see that she is showing her naked ring finger with the charming slogan “She’s tired of waiting”.
4. Using $250 000 for a billboard to prove a love affair is maybe a little too much, but not forYaVaughnie Wilkins who wanted everybody to know about the 8 and a half year long affair she had with Obama‘s advisor Charles Phillips.
2. This billboard was meant to help Republicans, but both the Republicans and Democrats thought that using a picture of the burning World Trade Center was inappropriate.
